Explore Your Bliss
Another critical task in this stage is to explore your bliss. It goes beyond discovering what you are great at ... to uncovering your life long passions.
Some cultures zero in on this questions with a vision quest to reveal a person's destiny. Others as an adventure out into the world, such as in Kiki's Delivery service, to discover where you belong.
But modern life offers so much more than the traditional tribal roles and agricultural bound life style. Even now the earth is going through the birth pains of a maturation of manufacturing ... and blue collar jobs.
Ideas, which have historically resulted in creating wealth and jobs, are gaining wide spread popularity are the means of wealth and the modes of production. And with the entire earth now becoming a playground most can afford to visit .. in person, in movies and in the imagination ... the exposure to the elements and well as the ingredients of your bliss have increased beyond what a small town or a large university can expose you to.
Many realize this, even subconsciously, and decide to travel the world or take some time off to explore their bliss before going to college or getting a degree.
For an increasing number, it makes sense to figure out what you want to be and do with your life ... before you invest in it ... emotionally as well as financially.
Question: So what do I do if I don't have the money or time to take off and discover who I am and who I want to be? What if, unlike my best friend who has known since he was 3 what he wanted to do, I have no clue?
