Some times, ageless wisdom comes to us. Often, it reflects who we are, and helps us find ourselves in a Universe of Chaos.
The Tao .. the Way of the Universe
Ancient wisdom says that everything moves, everything flows. And that is the Way of the Tao .... changing, moving, evolving. The Way the Universe works is a pretty big subject to cover ... and a lot to take in, at any one time.
So the veils of time cover up one part while the shifting sands of the desert reveal another portion. The wise know there is an elephant in the middle of the room, while others focus on the latest scandal, blockbuster movie or sitcom. But the Tao works at all levels, is simple in what it does as well as all pervasive.
To see it with clarity ... and see where the elephant is going and ride with it ... is what the Tao te Ching purrports* to offer you. No more or less. But engaging to dance with an elephant may be hazardous to a lifestyle that is based on anything but the Truth and Ultimate Reality.
