Why Are You Here, Now?
Do you wonder why you are here ... and what you should be doing with your life? Or like in ALien Visitor, does it seem like you landed on the wrong planet?
There is a way to start figuring out why you are here, at this time. But to* do that, you need to find a great starting place.
Life Callings & Purpose
Personally, I find it all starts with deciding what you want to know ...
- If you want to know what you are supposed to be doing, that's your Life Calling.
- If you want to know what you are supposed to get out of life, that's your Life Purpose.
An example might help. If you are called to be a nurse and help terminally ill patients, that is your life calling. But your purpose in life, the why behind that, could be to learn special lessons about the healing power of love, laughter and forgiveness. The two work together, but they are different.
One is what you put into life (what you are called to do), the other is what you get out of life (the purpose of it all). Put together, they tell you why you are here.
Deciding What You Want To Know
So decide on which one you want to start with. And then get prepared to ask yourself insightful questions that will lead you to a meaningful* answer you can use in our life. One that will help you see yourself more clearly, make better life decisions, and work for you.
The insights you gain along the way to finding your own answer may uncover what is really going on in your life ... and that can be both good and bad. Good in the fact that your life might make more sense ... but bad in the sense that if it is heading in the wrong direction, you will both know and feel it.
But what would you prefer? To know what you are supposed to be doing and feel uncomfortable you are not yet doing it? Or to be clueless and feel lost?
The choice is yours.
