Looking for ancient wisdom and insights about Venus? If so, you have come to the right place.
Diamond Sutra - Four Line Repeats
The sutra repeats many times the refrain ... if anyone received and retained even only four lines of this Discourse and taught and explained them to others, his merit would be the greater. A strong hint, if ever there was One, to look for the four lines, like the happy ending to a good [hi] story or the precious coins glistening at the bottom of a well.
Diamond Sutra - Last Four Lines
The last four lines are the ones hinted at ... and they are translated as ...
Thus shall you think of all this fleeting world:
A star at dawn, a bubble in a stream;
A flash of lightening in a summer cloud,
A flickering lamp, a phantom, and a dream.
If you are familiar with the Tarot and the ancient Arab fascination with the movement of Venus in a star pattern as both the Morning and Evening Star ... you will find the the allusions here very interesting.
Combine the Key 3 dawn star with the bubble in a stream (see the waterfall in her garden that shows the union of duality ... male and female) and the allusion to the lightening bolt in Key 16 with the lamp in The Hermit's hand in Key 9 ... and you will start to see the importance of these four lines.
The fleeting world of Key 21 (the dancer who can haunt waking dreams, a lucid ghost) becomes a hint at the Supreme Reality.
Pointing At Moonlight
Like a monk pointing at the moonlight reflected in the Ganges, so the Moon gives up its light as an act of generosity. Will the happiness resulting from explaining this sutra make its acceptance, practice and explanation worth the price? For diamonds maid of moonlight, like pearls, are beyond price.
